I don’t know about you, but one of my least favourite parts of going away is the packing. It’s always down to me to make sure that everyone in the family has everything they need, and it literally hurts my head when I have to sift through all our belongings and sort them into huge piles.
Throw a baby into the mix… well then you have a recipe for disaster. Now that Monkey is older, there isn’t the need to pack tons of items for him, but with Peanut’s arrival, and several overseas trips this year, he’s a completely different story… I don’t want to be abroad in a destination I don’t know at all, and not have the baby’s favourite toy! Can you imagine?
We’re off to Lisbon next week, and when I sat down to make a list of all the stuff I needed to bring with us in order to facilitate a smooth time away, it dawned on me that I would need this checklist for a few years to come. The baby’s toiletries and equipment alone make my head spin!
So I’ve compiled a downloadable and printable Ultimate Baby Packing Checklist which will hopefully make the whole trauma of packing for your little one a little easier.
Even in this day and age of technical advances there’s still something comforting about using a pen and ticking off a list. So next time you’re feeling overwhelmed by the packing task ahead, please do download and print off MTM’s Ultimate Baby Packing Checklist and I hope it makes the whole packing experience a little less stressful…
