This week on Holiday Snapshots, I am super excited to introduce you all to Karen from fab site Mini Travellers. She has three gorgeous little girls and she’s been kind enough to share her stunning family holiday to Lefkas in Greece.
Over to you, Karen…
We look for really family-friendly accommodation now. It needs to say ‘come and stay here’. We love beaches and peace, however, we loved adventure much more before the three Mini Travellers came along. We honeymooned by trekking in the Annapurna mountain range in Nepal.
Lefkas in Greece. We really wanted some guaranteed sun having spent two weeks in 2013 in France in the rain. We also chose it because the complex was very small, had great reviews and an amazing kids club just for toddlers.

Where did you stay?
Mousses in Lefkas. We had previously considered a similar complex called Peryali in Zante but the flight prices were better to Lefkas. It was a mini villa, but on a small complex so you got the benefits of the on site restaurant, bar and kids club, but with the upside of having your own space, a kitchen to cook the kids’ food and separate bedrooms. It is run by Simpson Travel.
The kids club run by Natasha was amazing and the kids loved it.
Playing with all three girls on the beach running in and out of the sea.
What did you get up to?
We loved a few of the restaurants we tried in Lefkas Town on date night.
Was it good value for money?
Yes but on the more expensive side of holidays. A big cost for us is the kids club as we have 3 children but for me, definitely worth it.
Your top tip/s for the area?
Visit lots of different beaches as they all had something different to offer.
Which photo is your favourite and why?
The one below summed up my memories of the holiday and would be more perfect if it had all three girls were on it, but this was the reason I chose it as the main photograph for my blog.
Yes, we have recommended it to lots of friends and are definitely considering going back next year.
What are the five holiday essentials you couldn’t live without?
• Eye mask – I am a terrible sleeper in sunshine
• Lots of books
• Ipad (for entertaining the Mini Travellers when travelling)
• My family
What is your most favourite place in the whole world and why?
Rome – I absolutely love Italy and love the history and culture of Rome. San Francisco is up there fighting for the top spot, too. Or maybe Namibia…
