I’m starting to get my groove back. Slowly but surely. Peanut is out of that newborn stage and we’re finally getting into a little routine. He’s doing well and giving us lots of smiles and making those adorable gurgling noises. It certainly makes up for the continued broken sleep. With a vast improvement in the weather, too, it means we’ve been getting out a lot more.
Picture azure seas and cloudless skies; eating delicious fresh seafood on chequered tablecloths, watching as waves gently lap against the shoreline and the sea breeze tickles your hair; wandering pretty villages with pastel coloured buildings; discovering secret coves and pristine beaches and a wealth of history? I don’t know about you, but one of my least favourite parts of going away is the packing. It’s always down to me to make sure that everyone in the family has everything they need, and it literally hurts my head when I have to sift through all our belongings and sort them into huge piles.
